In 1975, Fernand, who became the main shareholder, sold the company to his cousin Normand Soucy. With this change, Normand then takes a new direction and purchases specialized machinery. Now operating under the name Adélard Soucy 1975 (inc.), the foundry was left behind and he refocused the activities of his new acquisition on precision machining and welding.
